Mrs. Sifford

Hello
Welcome to Kindergarten

Mrs. Sifford

Mrs. Sifford

Hello! My name is Natasha Sifford. I will be your child’s teacher this year. I began my teaching career 14 years ago at Rowan Cabarrus Community College's Early Childhood Center. I was a teacher at McKnight for 5 years before coming to Forest Park. I started as a teacher assistant and received teacher assistant of the year in 2010-2011. I loved McKnight but am looking forward to 'graduating' to Kindergarten.

College(s) attended/Degree(s)
I currently hold a Master’s of Special Education, in which I received in June 2012 from Western Carolina University. I obtained a Birth-Kindergarten undergraduate degree from Catawba College.

Educational Philosophy/Vision

My goal is to help every child that comes through my door to reach his/her highest potential. I believe all children can learn if they are given the chance. There is nothing better than seeing the face of a child who accomplished a goal for the first time. It brightens my day to see my students succeed. I look forward to working with all of my students as well as their families. If you should have any questions, please feel free to contact me by phone at 704 932-8121 or by email natasha.sifford@kcs.k12.nc.us.

Hello, My Name is Elizabeth Delk

Mrs. Delk
I work along side my friend and teacher Natasha Sifford. We work as a team to ensure your child has every opportunity to reach their goals within the KCS Early Education Program.

College(s) attended/Degree(s)

My degrees are a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Wingate University and an Associate in Early Childhood Education from Rowan Cabarrus Community College. I'm presently working on my Master's in Education through UNCG.  I have worked in private and public school settings for 18 years.

                   Educational Philosophy/Vision

My educational goal is to promote a true sense of love for learning in children while in their preschool years.  My philosophy is that children are unique and so their learning experiences should be as well.  Their learning experiences should be challenging, interesting, supportive, successful and always positive.   I believe each and every child has the potential to bring something unique and special to the world.
