Mrs. Whitehill

Hello My Name Is...

Mrs. Whitehill

My name is Kelsey Whitehill and I am super excited to be teaching another year here at Forest Park Elementary!  I am honored that I get to be your child's teacher for Reading and Writing this year.  I love working with kids and believe it is not just a job, but a calling.  Mrs. Mottet will be teaching Math and Science/Social Studies and I have attached her webpage to see what your child is learning in her class. Please feel free to contact me anytime throughout the year by phone (704)-932-8121, email, note, or Class Dojo.  I have an open door policy, and am always here if you or your child need anything!

Thank you for partnering with me for the education of your child.

College Attended/ Degrees Earned: I attended Liberty University where I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a specialization in English.  I am also AIG certified through University of North Carolina at Charlotte!

Educational Philosophy/Vision: I believe that ALL children can learn and succeed when they are in a truly supportive environment.  I strive to create a classroom where my students can come and feel comfortable and accepted by others.  My students know they are loved, they are important, and they can do anything they set their minds to!  I am here to do what is best for each individual child and work very hard to make learning fun.  I want my students to love learning, because these first years in school are invaluable to their future success.

These children are the future of our world!

Please continue to read over the summer and practice your multiplication/division facts. Have a great summer!
