I was born and raised in Kannapolis, North Carolina. I graduated from A.L. Brown High School in 1986. I am proud to call Kannapolis my home. It is a great place to live and raise a family. It is a dream come true to be working in Kannapolis City School. I have been at Forest Park since April, 2012. I  was a teacher assistant and now I'm the EC Teacher for our severe/profound classroom. I'm now working on my MAT in Special Education Adaptive at UNCC.

Colleges Attended/ Degrees Earned

Graduate Teaching Certificate from UNCC in Special Education (Adaptive & General)
BA in Bible from Columbia International University

Educational Philosophy: I believe that all students are capable of learning when they are given proper instruction and an environment that encourages them to succeed.

"There needs to be a lot more emphasis on what a child can do instead of what he cannot do." Dr. Temple Grandin
